The Book Trailer

From The Legal Tender Question

"The journey begins with a disciplined question."

When the law recognizes a currency for payment, what exactly has been discharged - and what value has truly been settled?

Chapter 9 - Before Paper Currency

Livestock could be transferred in marriage arrangements, compensation, tribute, and settlement of obligations. But livestock were not perfect monetary instruments - they required care, could become ill, and were not easily divided without destroying value. Tools embodied materials, labor, skill, and productive capacity.

Chapter 6 - Payment vs. Settlement

A court may mark the judgment satisfied. An accounting system may close the liability. These events establish legal or technical completion - they do not necessarily establish economic equivalence. Full settlement must consider the value originally given, the purchasing power of the currency, and the real value received.

Chapter 3 - Why This Matters

The correct response to the Legal Tender Question is not disorder. Current Legal Tender remains lawful until lawfully changed. Taxes remain due. Contracts remain binding. Banks and courts remain lawful. The proper response is public education, evidence, legal review, and institutional readiness.
